Community Policy and Headlines

Last updated: October 2026

Purpose

This policy sets out how SUI Securities Ltd contributes to the community it works in, and the standards we hold ourselves to when we do. We are a small investment management firm in London, so we concentrate on what is close to us and what we can do properly: money skills, free advice for people who cannot pay for it, and steady support for organisations already doing the work.

Scope

The policy applies to everyone at the firm, including partners and employees, and to any activity carried out in our name: school and college sessions, community clinics, charitable giving, matched donations, work experience and pro bono work. It sits alongside our anti-money laundering and anti-corruption policy and our ESG policy.

What we commit to

Money skills where they are needed

We give our time to schools, colleges and community groups that teach people to manage money. Sessions are free, practical and free of product promotion.

Advice without a sales pitch

Our drop-in clinics exist for people who cannot pay for advice. We answer the question asked, we do not collect contact details for marketing, and we never sell anything at them.

Support that lasts longer than a photo

Where we support a local organisation, we prefer steady commitments over one-off gestures: covering a recurring cost, matching staff donations, or lending expertise through the year.

Fair treatment of everyone we deal with

Community work is an extension of how we treat clients: honestly, without pressure, and with respect for privacy. We do not use photographs of participants without written consent.

What we will not do

Clear limits keep community work honest. We do not:

  • We do not make political donations and do not fund campaigning or lobbying activity.
  • We do not give money or gifts in exchange for introductions, referrals or business.
  • We do not use community activity as a marketing channel, and we do not pass participant details to anyone.
  • We do not promise outcomes we cannot deliver, and we say plainly when a request is outside what we can help with.

Choosing where to help

We take requests from schools, charities and community groups directly, and we favour work where our skills make a real difference rather than a donation alone. Before committing, we check that the organisation is properly constituted, that the activity is lawful and that nobody at the firm has a personal interest we would need to manage. We record what we agreed to and who approved it.

Time, cost and measurement

Community activity is given in firm time and paid for from the firm's own resources, never from client assets or commission. We keep a simple record of the hours given, the money donated and the organisations helped, and we review it once a year to see whether the effort is still going where it is most useful.

Responsibility and review

A partner is responsible for this policy. It is reviewed annually and updated when our activity or the organisations we work with change materially.

Community headlines

October 2026

Money talks in local schools

Partners from the firm spent two mornings with sixth-form students in Tower Hamlets, working through budgets, debt and the difference between saving and investing. The sessions run twice a year and are free to the schools.

September 2026

Saturday advice clinic at the community centre

We hold a monthly drop-in at a local community centre, where anyone can ask about pensions, paperwork or a letter that does not make sense. No appointment, no charge, and no products sold.

July 2026

Supporting the food bank through the summer

The firm matched staff donations to a food bank serving families across east London and covered its storage costs through the school holidays, when demand rises and donations fall.

May 2026

Work experience for two local students

Two students joined us for a week to see how a small investment firm actually works, from client reporting to the checks behind a payment. Both said the week changed what they thought the job was.
