Freedom of Information Statement
Last updated: October 2026
SUI Securities and the Freedom of Information Act
The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public a right to request recorded information from public authorities, such as government departments, local councils and NHS bodies. SUI Securities Ltd is a private investment management firm and is not itself a public authority, so the Act does not apply to the firm in the same way. We publish this statement nevertheless, so that anyone looking for information from SUI Securities knows exactly where to turn and what we will do.
What information we publish openly
SUI Securities believes transparency should not depend on a legal request. On this website we already publish our regulatory policies and disclosures, including our complaints procedure, modern slavery and human trafficking statements, section 172 statement, data protection statement and terms and conditions. Anyone may read and reuse these pages subject to our copyright policy.
Requesting information from us
If you would like recorded information from SUI Securities that is not on this website, ask us through the form on our contact page and describe what you need as clearly as you can. We will acknowledge your request and respond within one month, telling you what we can provide, free of charge, or explaining honestly if we cannot.
Information we cannot provide
SUI Securities must protect its clients. We never disclose personal data about our clients, their portfolios or their transactions to third parties, and we cannot provide records that would breach the UK General Data Protection Regulation, disclose another person's information, or compromise security or commercially confidential arrangements. These limits mirror the exemptions that public authorities apply under the Act.
Asking a public authority about SUI Securities
You can make a freedom of information request to a public authority about its dealings with SUI Securities, for example a regulator's public records concerning the firm. Such requests go to the authority itself; if a request reaches us by mistake, we will tell you which authority to contact and where. Our own regulatory status can be checked at any time on the Financial Conduct Authority's public Financial Services Register.
Review of this statement
SUI Securities reviews this statement at least once a year. The current version is always published on this page. If you are unhappy with the way a request for information was handled, tell us and we will review it; for personal data rights, our Data Protection Statement explains your rights and how to complain.
